San Salvador

For those who know Venice, the main draw is the St. Mark’s Cathedral there, with its moorish influence. I certainly have been inspired there, but there is another church on the other side of the Grande Canale called San Salvador. You have seen it in many photos of Venice. The floor there is a combination of red, black and white swirls and assault the eyes. I have rendered the complex center here. I have added a smattering of yellow to emphasize the design.
