City Hall Subway, NYC

I am constantly fascinated with New York City and its hidden gems. This subway stop, located below City Hall still exists and can be seen by staying on the train at the end of the 6 line. I was inspired by the skylight and its endless shadow and light play: people walking across, traffic, trees blowing in the wind. All show in the light. I have played with various shades of white and gray to give this feel in this center panel. The outer yellow-and-green reflects the artisan brickwork that is ever-present in the stop.
