Normally, the pieces I do have a number of colors to them. Here, I used only two: purple and white. Of course I used quite a variety of purples here, from a reddish violet to deep periwinkle. It was a bear to do as it is an oval and getting the piece to lay consistently flat was a trial (I reworked it three times!). It is one of my favorite pieces.
